Epic Campout Event!

What an Epic event - the 1st Annual El Morro Campout. Camping out under the stars at El Morro with friends and family...it was simply awesome! Families arrived and constructed their tents. Some went right up....some took awhile - only one fell down - but that was pretty much expected.

We were treated to a tremendous display of nature when the local Red-Tailed Hawk grabbed and proceeded to devour a rabbit up in the tree next to the 4th & 5th grade classrooms!

Read more about the event in today's Laguna Beach Independent article written by Strike Team dad, Paul Meyer.

Many thanks go to the Campout organizational team led by Dave Shipp.
Dave's team consisted of Ian Cairns, Neil Detweiler, Bill Nugent and Paul Meyer. These guys did an amazing job organizing and executing the event. Every aspect was well thought out and professionally delivered.

Big thanks also go to our PTA leader, Lynn Gregory plus Angela Shipp, Shelley Detweiler and Wendy Meyer for their extreme efforts.
